The piece is called, Grandfather cuts loose the ponies and is created by artist David Govedare. The artwork is at the top of a pretty steep little climb, but the view is great! Route of the Hiawatha, Idaho/Montana Border, June 19, 2010. This "Rail to Trail" used to be a train route that has been converted to a 15-mile bike trail with a constant, gentle downhill slope. The route takes you through tunnels and over bridges for great views and a unique experience.
